The DayPack20 rePETe™ is Chico Bag's first product in their line of elite, pouch-able, lifestyle packs.

The DayPack20 rePETe™ is an advanced, ultra-lightweight backpack made of durable, recycled PET ripstop fabric and is designed for the adventurer in us all.
Chico Bag's DayPack20 easily stuffs into an integrated zip pouch, which turns into a hidden pocket when the DayPack is opened into its full size.
With adjustable straps, flexible lycra bottle pockets and a unique closure system, this compact backpack is perfect to throw in your suit case or under your bike seat.
The DayPack20 has a new sternum strap accessory (sold separately) for added support and stabilization.
Like all ChicoBag™ brand rePETe™ products, the DayPack20 rePETe™ is made of recycled content. This industry-leading DayPack is manufactured from 95% recycled content and lists the recycled materials used in production on the backside of the pouch.

Water Resistance: Pack is slightly water resistant but will not protect stowed items from moisture damage.

Storage:

Has two storage sleeves on each side which will accommodate a small to medium water bottle and a second narrower item.
The stuff pouch seconds as a small internal zipper pocket when pack is in use.

Testing Results:

We have taken this light-weight pack on several day hikes (2-6 miles) up rugged mountain trails and have run with them for several miles as well. They have preformed very well and are surprisingly comfortable and stable for how light weight they are. Highly recommend for day hikes.

Life:	Product is very durable and built to last out of Rip-Stop material. Chico Bag has a repurposing program so that the bags may be returned to them at the end of their life to be woven into rugs by The Grateful Thread, a philanthropist organization.

Packaging:	Product does not require packaging.
Manufacturing:	Chico Bag is serious about recycling. Their entire company generates less than 25% the amount of waste per month as an average individual American.

	The pack is light and compact. I got the optional sternum strap for it and found that after attaching it to the pack you can still close the pack into its pouch-able state very easily. This way you don't have to keep it separate and risk misplacing it. When opened the pack has plenty of room and the pouch that would normally contain the pack now hangs inside the pack and can be zippered closed to protect those small items such as your keys or wallet.
